01 Use of Platform
SpotMela is a local advertising and discovery platform intended to help people discover local offers, businesses, events, services and opportunities. The Platform may display information provided by businesses, users or other sources. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SpotMela is a discovery and advertising service and is not the provider of the goods or services listed.
02 User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and responsibly. Information you provide should be accurate, current and not misleading. You are responsible for your interactions, communications and transactions with businesses and other users, and should use your own judgement before acting on information found through the Platform.
03 Business Listings
A business or listing owner is responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of its listing, including its name, contact information, prices, availability, offers, services, photographs and claims. Listing information should be kept up to date. A listing does not imply that SpotMela has endorsed, certified or independently verified that business.
04 Advertising Content
Advertising and promotional content must be truthful, lawful and clear about relevant terms, limitations and expiry dates. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit any text, image, logo or other content. SpotMela may review, decline, edit for presentation or remove content that appears inconsistent with these terms or applicable requirements.
05 Prohibited Content
You must not submit or share content that is unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, harmful, infringing or otherwise inappropriate. You must not use the Platform to distribute malware, interfere with its operation, collect information without permission, impersonate another person or promote prohibited goods or services.
06 Third-Party Information
Listings, offers, events and other information may be supplied by third parties. SpotMela does not guarantee that third-party information is accurate, complete, available or current. Questions about a listing, offer, purchase, booking or service should be directed to the relevant provider. Links to external websites are provided for convenience and are not controlled by SpotMela.
07 Payments and Advertising Services
If paid advertising or other paid services are offered, their price, duration, scope and any applicable terms will be presented separately before purchase. Unless those separate terms say otherwise, fees are payable as shown at the time of purchase. Any cancellation, refund or renewal terms will be stated with the relevant service.
08 Intellectual Property
The SpotMela name, logo, Platform design and original materials belong to SpotMela or its respective rights holders and may not be used without permission. You retain rights to content you submit, while allowing SpotMela to display and use that content as reasonably needed to operate, present and promote the Platform and the relevant listing or service. You confirm that you have authority to grant that permission.
09 Platform Availability
We aim to keep the Platform useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation or permanent availability of any feature, listing or content. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis.
10 Account Suspension
SpotMela may restrict, suspend or remove access to the Platform, a listing or content where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, address legal requirements or prevent misuse. Where appropriate, we may first request corrections or additional information.
11 Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated as the Platform or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
